Hezbollah "Kicks Out Fighters Using Phones On The Front" As Israeli Strikes Kill Top Commanders

- Hezbollah has adopted low-tech strategies to try to evade Israel’s sophisticated surveillance technology, Reuters reported. The move follows the killing of senior commanders of the Lebanese militant group in targeted Israeli airstrikes.
The two sides have been trading fire since Hezbollah's Palestinian ally in the Gaza Strip, Hamas, attacked Israel in October last year.
Hezbollah has also confirmed the deaths of more than 20 operatives, including three top commanders, in targeted strikes away from the frontlines. On July 3, a car driving through a Lebanese coastal village more than 20 km north of the Israeli border burst into flames.
The Israeli military said it had eliminated Mohammed Nasser, who it said commanded a unit that attacks Israel from southwestern Lebanon. Nasser’s death came less than a month after a commander in charge of operations in the central region of the southern border strip was killed in Israeli strike.

The Syrian War taught lots of lessons. You can thank the Sunni insurgency against the Alawites to thank for this. Asad's crackdowns on communications along with Western support against the regime (and unity) let to advances such as "tweet over encrypted HAM" and other such fun toys. While the West is crying about Tik Tok, the East is working on real privacy and security solutions for the world to come. If not the leaders than those that look to avoid their control.
